Spanish has some different rules when it comes to adding punctuation to sentences. Generally, they are pretty simple so I'll just lay it out for you. Any questions - shoot me an email.
¿Questions have an upside down question mark at the beginning of every question?
¡Exclamatory sentences have an upside down exclamation mark at the beginning of the sentence!
Unlike English (but like French) countries are not capitalized.
Yo soy de canada (I am from Canada)
Be carefull of words with accents. Not only does the accent tell you where the strong syllable is, but it can change the meaning of the word.
tomo = I drink BUT tomó = he/she/it DRANK (you don't normally need to use the pronoun, which is why accents are so important).
